RepostBy @vinegarworksguitars: “This Guyatone-made Kent (circa 1965) has been given a renovation. It arrived as part of a pair known here as the Brothers Guyatone (its fraternal twin is in-process). The pair of them had been subjected to some rough amateur surgery – they’ve Seen Things. There are quite a few Kent Lidos in the world (they’re a classic for a reason), but this is one-of-a-kind. It’s got a woodburned pickguard, new rosewood fingerboard with Art Brut-style pearl & brass inlay, new bone nut/pots/cap/jack. The original pickups sound terrific, and plays outstandingly well with pedals & effects. With a new fingerboard and frets, it feels very solid in hand – it’s just nice to play and is totally ready to rock!

Scale: 24 ¾”
Frets: 20
